TELEMETER SCALE

The bezel of the 1956 Chronograph has a Telemetric scale that allows you to measure the distance of an immediately visible and subsequently audible phenomenon, such as lightning and thunder or the explosion and sound of a firework. For example, it can be useful to measure the approach or departure of a storm or in the past, during the war, it was used to measure the distance of enemy fire, especially at night, starting the chronograph when viewing the light and stopping it in the the moment the shot was heard.
