Kickstarter is a launchpad for creators to raise funds for the initial production of their invention. Backers (that’s you!) can support the creator by pre-ordering the product at a discounted price.

When you back a project, you’re funding the production of the product. That means you’ll get your choice of watch once it’s produced (based on the pledge level you selected during the campaign). Besides getting the product itself, you’re also joining a community. Follow along the production process, take part in important surveys and give the creator valuable feedback.

To pre-order your watch, first log in to your Kickstarter account, click the green button below and then select the reward you want. That’s it!

Kickstarter doesn’t work like an e-commerce, in fact, your card will be charged after the campaign ends, Friday 2 April. If the project is cancelled for any reason, you won’t be charged. You can use any debit or credit card associated with Visa, Mastercard or American Express, as well as Discover and JCB cards. Kickstarter does not accept payments with PayPal.

When you back the project, Kickstarter sends an authorization to your credit or debit card for the amount of the pledge to make sure there are sufficient funds to capture once the campaign ends. This authorization is only temporary and typically will show as a Pending Charge for around 72 hours. It will then disappear until the campaign ends. Once the campaign ends, Kickstarter will actually charge your card for the full pledged amount.

The Averau39 watches have an estimated ship date of late August 2021. Depending on your location, you’ll get them sometime between August-September. Please note that this is an estimate, as you’re pre-ordering the watch and production delays could arise.

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate requests for specific Serial Numbers because multiple people could request the same number. 

No, the watches will be distributed randomly. This way every backer has a chance at low numbers even if you only found out about the Kickstarter campaign on day 23 of 24. Earliest backers get the benefit of the lowest pricing.

Yes, all Averau39 will have the screw-down crown, included the small seconds with hand-wound movement.

All Avearu39 timepieces preordered in Kickstarter come with both a technical strap and an extra leather strap (100% handmade in Italy) for free.

Yes we do have plans to offer additional straps after the campaign ends. During the final post-campaign survey we hope to allow backers the opportunity to purchase additional straps at a discounted rate. We don’t currently have pricing set, but it’ll be very reasonable.

All the Averau39 watches will be insured for 2 years starting from the delivery date of the watch.
