The glorious history of the Padua Tennis Club begins, approximately, with the birth of our sport. The first affiliation with FIT is precisely in 1912. From its founding until 1925 the headquarters is the official clubhouse in Prato della Valle; from 1925 to 2010 (85 years) the Ti Ci moved to the historic location in via Goito, and now resides in via Bainsizza.
From the first instant the social colors were white, red and blue. The first location, at the official clubhouse, consists of two courts near a small church at the former Foro Boario. The real founder and first president is, at that time, Leone Romanin Jacur who, with the help of Beppino Soster, Francesco Santini, Gastone Treves begins to spread this new sport among the aristocracy and young university students.
From the first moment, the Tennis Club Padova has been able to give uncontrollable emotions throughout its history made up of men, prestigious venues and bitter battles on the field, experiencing happy and stormy periods. Now it is a modern club adapted to the changed times but always respectful of its century-old history.
In 2022 the Tennis Club Padova became the European champion of Centenary Tennis Clubs Competition.
